The Concourse at Union Station is a location steeped in history that will add timeless elegance to any event hosted here. Though still a functioning train station, this building's role as a significant transport hub has diminished, making the grand concourse an ideal location for the wedding of anyone's dreams.

Rated highly for both its' historical uniqueness and the efficient, thorough, event staff, The Concourse at Union Station is a beautiful option for your wedding's setting. Located in the heart of downtown Erie, the area offers couples the ability to customize a special day. Indoor and outdoor ceremony sites can all be found within walking distance. Of course, The Concourse at Union Station also makes the perfect option for hosting both the ceremony and reception all in one place.

Not only is the concourse itself an exquisite place, but the building's central location in downtown Erie makes it the perfect spot to access an array of nearby photo options. Here are five elements to consider incorporating into your wedding day pictures at The Concourse at Union Station.

The Building

The classic architectural elements of this building, built in 1927, provide a striking backdrop all on their own. The event staff here will work with you to select flowers and decorations that will enhance the classic beauty here and make your wedding really pop.

The Train Platform

The working train platform makes for an exciting backdrop to photos. Plan ahead and give your photographer time to work with the staff to make sure the area is clear for pictures to take advantage of this unique element.

Griswold Plaza

Located nearby, Griswold Plaza area provides numerous options for portrait spaces, all within a leisurely stroll from Union Station. A variety of indoor and outdoor locations can be found here, giving us a vast number of options to work with

Griswold Park

The park itself sits directly across from Union Station. The nostalgic feel of this area adds a special element to wedding pictures, and the park also has a nice shaded area for portraits when the daylight may be too harsh. Couples can take advantage of the park's pretty fountain to add a beautiful backdrop to images here.

The 14th Street Underpass

For couples inspired by the urban surroundings in the area, local art, and graffiti make for a striking background in photos. You have a couple of options here. First, you can head over to the contact us page, fill out the form, and send it over to us. Or, send us a text message with your name, wedding date, and venue. Either way, we do our best to get back to you by the next business day.

If we're available on your date, we will then set up a time to meet, chat about your day, and create a package that fulfills your wish list. Your and your fiance's signatures on our contract plus a non-refundable deposit officially reserves your date on our calendar.

How can we book you?

You will get both! I photograph every wedding using two different cameras -- one dedicated to black and white and the other to color. The ratio of black and white to color photos you receive in your gallery may change based on your chosen wedding colors, venue, and/or preference. If you see a black and white image that you want in color, or vice versa, it is very likely that I will have it and can add it to your gallery.

I see mostly black and white Photos in your portfolio. will we get ANY photos in color?
