The Barn at Conneaut Creek | Erie, PA Wedding Venue

I’ve been blessed to participate in many wedding and engagement photo shoots in the Erie area over the years. We’re fortunate to live in a community which has many beautiful locations to choose from. Everyone has favorites, though, and I have to admit that one of mine is the Barn at Conneaut Creek. If sophisticated shabby chic and pure natural backdrops are what you’re looking for, I can’t recommend this venue highly enough. Take a seat and let me tell you a bit about it.

Country Elegance

The showpiece of this location is the antique barn which is over 100 years young. Weathered white paint on the outside is the perfect backdrop to set off any color you choose to decorate with. The inside of the barn is all rustic, hand-hewn beams and brick flooring. Just gorgeous!

The farm also covers acres of woods and pasture which always provide something new and exciting to photograph. A old railroad bridge crossing the creek makes a really unique photo.

Your Own Private Estate

Reserving the Barn at Conneaut Creek for your special day is an exceptional value. The entire Estate will be exclusively yours for the entire weekend, Friday morning until Sunday afternoon. Even tables and chairs are provided.

The vintage farmhouse, affectionately called the Big House, has five large bedrooms and five bathrooms, two spacious living rooms, a sitting area, and a large kitchen. There’s even a laundry room for any last minute touch-ups or ‘Oops!’ moments.

The extensive lawns, deck, and patios are full of possibilities. Pictures off the intimate back deck overlooking Conneaut Creek can capture peaceful, quiet moments in the middle of bridal day busyness. This is your family’s wedding home away from home – enjoy it!

Three full days are yours, which takes lots of stress out of not only setting up for the ceremony, there is so much more time for us to scout out your favorite photo-op locations. There are so many amazing spots on this property, it may take 3 days just to choose!

Make It Your Own

The most important thing for any couple to remember after deciding on the Barn at Conneaut Creek is to make this time your own. Everyone is unique and has their own particular dreams and desires for their day.

You are encouraged to utilize your own wedding or event planner to get just the look and flavor you want. Catering and meals can be customized through the business of your choosing. The staff here are gracious, friendly, and happy to help with decorating ideas.

The barn itself can comfortably seat 100 guests. Need more space? The building can easily be extended to fit 200 or so if the back awning and patio area are utilized. Expecting a lot more guests!? Renting tents can be a great choice, and with the large lawns, the sky is the limit!
