Brought to life in the late 1950s small group of visionaries wanted to bring a championship caliber golf course to the bluff overlooking the town and vineyards of North East, PA and, of course, Lake Erie. Carved out of a hillside to provide the most spectacular views of the area, the name of Lake View became the obvious choice.

And as always a bit of a side note: we've been doing this Matt Mead wedding photography gig for some time now and we observe everything at every venue from a sort of behind the scenes privilege, and so when we share a venue, you can be sure, it meets our critical eye's standards.

With huge windows facing the beautiful natural landscape, the elegant reception room is a warm, and inviting space perfect for this important day. Tastefulness is the key theme here.
Besides the indoor reception area, there is also an outdoor space that is perfect for the ceremony and celebration in the warmer weather.
The food
Lake View Country Club is very proud of its reputation for the finest food in the Erie area. Their very experienced culinary team is always developing new and fresh menu ideas.
Their pre-set event menus include your choice of a sit-down dinner service or buffet, with your choice of entrée selections. However, by no means do they limit you to these selections as they will tailor any menu to suit your culinary taste as well as your budget.

If you have your wedding here at just the right time, the smell of those vineyards will fill the air. (Who from Erie doesn't love that time of year?)
The developers of Lake View Country Club carved it out of the hillside to provide the most spectacular views of the area. There was nothing else but Lake View that it could be named.
Those views have distracted many a golfer, but they provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

You have a couple of options here. First, you can head over to the contact us page, fill out the form, and send it over to us. Or, send us a text message with your name, wedding date, and venue. Either way, we do our best to get back to you by the next business day.
If we're available on your date, we will then set up a time to meet, chat about your day, and create a package that fulfills your wish list. Your and your fiance's signatures on our contract plus a non-refundable deposit officially reserves your date on our calendar.
How can we book you?
You will get both! I photograph every wedding using two different cameras -- one dedicated to black and white and the other to color. The ratio of black and white to color photos you receive in your gallery may change based on your chosen wedding colors, venue, and/or preference. If you see a black and white image that you want in color, or vice versa, it is very likely that I will have it and can add it to your gallery.
