Majestic Woods. The name says it all, doesn’t it? Only 30 minutes from Erie in Western New York, this wedding venue is 77 acres of woods and hills and two ponds. It also features a covered bridge and gazebo. Majestic, indeed. And you’re only minutes from Findley Lake. (Go here for more.)
When you book your wedding at Majestic Woods, it’s all yours. From either 9 AM to 9 PM or 10 AM to 10 PM (in case you want fireworks!), it’s just you and your people. And it’s available year round. (There are people who want winter wonderland weddings, right? RIGHT?)
We had a blast photographing here. As you can see in all of these photos, the couple and their wedding party had a pretty freaking good time too. ((to put it mildly))

About Majestic Woods
Majestic Woods began as a hunting lodge ((insert a silly joke here)) until it was purchased and transformed by the previous owners in 2017 into the manicured countryside venue it is today.
Now it’s under new management, and the new owners hope to continue to grow its legacy by providing guests with a year round event space where memories can be made, the beautiful grounds enjoyed, and the experiences shared.

Honey Bee Cottage
(Who doesn’t want to stay here just because of the name?!)
Located 6 miles from Majestic Woods on a country estate, this is offered to the bride and groom for their post wedding stay.
The Cottage sits on a farmette adjacent to French Creek. Specifically curated for guests seeking a place to stay after their event, this quaint Airbnb cottage promises to be the perfect retreat.
The Honey-Bee Cottage boasts a cozy and intimate English- Cottage atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a peaceful escape.
The Carriage House
Although Majestic Woods offers a complimentary bridal cabin to get ready in, “The Carriage House” offers a dedicated space for a large bridal party to stay and prepare for the momentous occasion. The charming bedrooms and well-appointed living areas provide a tranquil backdrop for hairstyling, makeup application, and last-minute preparations.
Miscellaneous Tidbits about Majestic Woods
Catering
Currently, they do not offer on-site catering, but they do have a list of recommended caterers that they can provide. They only recommend catering services that they’ve worked with and trust, of course, so you will have no problem finding the right fit.
Speaking of Fireworks
They do allow fireworks on the property. However, fireworks require a special permit and notification thirty (30) days in advance of your wedding. Make sure to bring this up right away if it’s on your wishlist.
Can you have your rehearsal on the grounds of Majestic Woods?
Yes! When you book your wedding with them, their venue coordinators will be in contact with you and will discuss details such as date and time in order to confirm it does not conflict with any other events. Again, your privacy is part of the beauty of this venue.
Final Thoughts
Your upper limit at Majestic Woods would be 275 guests, but that’s a good sized wedding! With 77 acres to roam and play and celebrate, you can be sure that everyone will have a memorable, fun-filled time.
