We recently got to photograph the Rustic Acres wedding of a really fun couple, Hannah Boltz and Macke Hall. We enjoyed sharing this special day with them. As a wedding photographer, we understand the importance of capturing the memories and details of the wedding day and hope the photos we share bring happiness from years to come.
The Beginning of a Beautiful Future
Macke and Hannah first crossed paths in their religion class in college. After Macke asked Hannah to a party, there was no denying that it would be a lasting relationship. The compassion and generosity Hannah and Macke have shared over the past nine years laid the foundation for the rest of their lives together.
A Movie-Like Beach Proposal
Macke and Hannah’s proposal was like one that you would see in the movies. Each year the couple plans a trip to the Dominican Republic with friends, which Macke believed the beaches of the Dominican Republic would make a beautiful location for the perfect proposal. Therefore, Hannah and he arrived a day earlier than everyone else. This allowed the opportunity for some couple time by enjoying a nice dinner and after having lots of wine, Hannah adds, a walk on the beach. On the beach is where Macke popped the question. It was a very thoughtfully planned beach proposal that we all dream about. Fast-forward to September 27, 2019, and we are now celebrating their wedding day!

The Rustic Acres Wedding
Located in the beautiful hills of rural Western Pennsylvania, Hannah and Macke chose to have their wedding at the beautiful Rustic Acres Farm. The farm’s pond acted as the breathtaking backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. Each wedding we photograph has a unique feature or aspect, and this Rustic Acres wedding was no different. While planning the wedding Hannah had always joked about rather than a traditional unity ceremony they should do a unity shot. But little did Macke know that she wasn’t joking. The couple took a Fireball and Rumchatta shot during their ceremony!
