A mere 30 minutes from Erie, along a great drive that most of us are pretty familiar with, you'll find Lakeshore Vineyard Weddings and Events.
Just a few minutes outside the town of Ripley and just under a half hour to the Chautauqua Institute, you and your guests will certainly not lack for things to do, places to explore, and places to stay.
From Ripley, you could explore a number of local wineries (go here for information) and you could take advantage of the lakeshore itself with walks and beach time. And a drive over to Chautauqua is always worth the time. For your guests who have never been there, the Institute never fails to impress. Check out their schedule for what's going on during and around your wedding date. (And if your wedding is during the off season, staying there can be wonderful; it's quiet and the rates are lower.)
As your photographer, I can say this is one beautiful spot. The backdrop of the lake is really dramatic and will never disappoint.
Lakeshore Vineyard is locally and family owned. This exquisite vineyard sits on 24 acres that offer breathtaking views of Lake Erie’s gorgeous shorelines. No exaggeration there. And it offers beautiful views of surrounding vineyards. (You're in the heart of grape country here.)
If an all-outdoor wedding is what you’ve got in mind, you’re in luck at Lakeshore Vineyard! Ceremonies are lovely in the Lake View Arbor. The namesake arbor is in a secluded location and boasts a panoramic lake view with majestic trees right behind the arbor. If you time it right, the sunset will vividly imprint this moment on your and your guests' memories.

You have a couple of options here. First, you can head over to the contact us page, fill out the form, and send it over to us. Or, send us a text message with your name, wedding date, and venue. Either way, we do our best to get back to you by the next business day.
If we're available on your date, we will then set up a time to meet, chat about your day, and create a package that fulfills your wish list. Your and your fiance's signatures on our contract plus a non-refundable deposit officially reserves your date on our calendar.
You will get both! I photograph every wedding using two different cameras -- one dedicated to black and white and the other to color. The ratio of black and white to color photos you receive in your gallery may change based on your chosen wedding colors, venue, and/or preference. If you see a black and white image that you want in color, or vice versa, it is very likely that I will have it and can add it to your gallery.
