Oh friends, this wedding was so dear to us! Rachel and Garrett are an incredible couple, so in love, and their wedding was a romantic winter dream! Their winter wonderland wedding at Peek n Peak Resort was full of candlelight, greenery, and oh so many laughs. The stunning Peek n Peak Resort in Clymer, NY was the perfect wedding venue for Rachel & Garrett’s big day, providing breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and top-notch service.
Our Favorite Wedding Day Moments
First off, Rachel looked incredible in her gown. She chose a stunning lace, form-fitting mermaid gown with a plunge neckline and a sparkly veil.
But Garrett was no slouch either! He looked extremely dapper in his navy blue suit with a burgundy tie. Their colors of burgundy and navy perfectly complemented the season, adding to the romance and elegance of the day.
Candid photos are always some of our favorites of any wedding day. Rachel & Garrett’s loved ones took candids to a new level of amazing. Some of the best moments included the girls getting ready, laughing with bottles of champagne in hand.
Then, there’s Garrett and his posse throwing back Hooten-Young whiskey in the groom’s room. Garrett is a Marine veteran and this particular whiskey is a veteran owned and run distillery, so it is especially important to him.
When Rachel descended the stairs for a precious first look with her dad, it was absolutely priceless. Our cameras were loving them!
But, probably the moment that topped the charts for the day was when Garrett first saw his bride walking toward him down the aisle. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Hell, if you don’t get a little misty just looking at these photos, maybe there’s something wrong with you! (Just kidding.)
Rachel & Garret’s Winter Wedding
The winter wedding ceremony took place at the resort’s beautiful indoor ceremony site, where Rachel and Garrett exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones in front of a stately fireplace trimmed in gorgeous wood. It was to die for! The ceremony was full of love and warmth, despite the cold weather outside.
Their reception was held at the resort’s beautiful Retreat ballroom, which was decorated with beautiful greenery and candlelight, creating an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Homey and cozy, the Retreat room gives off perfect mountain lodge vibes, especially decked out with twinkly Christmas trees. Their décor was perfect for the winter season, and created such a romantic and magical ambiance.
Overall, Rachel and Garrett’s wedding was such an awesome day, made even more special by the beautiful Peek n Peak Resort. But, in the end, it was truly their family and friends who made it unforgettable. If you ask us, it truly is the people you are surrounded by that make your wedding day so much fun, and these two and their families knew how to make that happen.
