Young love. There is nothing like it. When you meet in elementary school, as Teagan and Andrea did, the sky’s the limit for your relationship. Meeting young means you grow together. You know each other’s stories – family, friends, pets, and probably even each other’s homework assignments. When you meet in the 5th grade, you end up with a long history of friendship and love before you’re even old enough to drive!
We love Teagan and Andrea’s story for this reason. Young love that grows into maturation and grows into a forever commitment. And we’re here for it! With love as expansive as their wedding site, we were thrilled and honored to photograph Teagan and Andrea’s wedding at the Big Red Barn at the Farm!
The Big Red Barn at the Farm Wedding
With over 140 green acres, set in the picturesque countryside of Girard, Pennsylvania, just west of Erie and miles away from the Lake, The Big Red Barn at the Farm is a one-of-a-kind venue for weddings and celebrations. We love the barn venue for the hospitality of the business owners, Bill and Myrna, and it’s timeless rustic yet classy atmosphere. Not only is the property gorgeous, but the venue boasts of both classic and country at the same time. Small enough to be intimate but large enough to host a large celebration.
Teagan and Andrea married outside, among greenery as far as the eye could see. And with tall, towering trees framing the perimeter of their ceremony, their ceremony was picture perfect. Images of these two with the lake reflected in the background; Teagan in his three-piece tuxedo and Andrea resplendent in a button-back, lace gown and hair swept into a chignon, were beautiful enough for their photos; the background just added another layer of charm.
An indoor barn reception followed the vows. Teagan and Andrea celebrated the night away with their family and friends, with hardwood floors, romantic globe lighting strung throughout, and a tall, wooden ceiling. With guests holding their lit sparklers in their send-off, the happy couple announced their departure with a kiss for the ages, complete with a romantic dip.
