I have been lucky to photograph Jen and Mitch for both their engagement and their Edinboro University wedding. It is so gratifying to be able to watch couples go through these big stages in their life and be a part of that journey. As a wedding photographer, I have the good fortune of working with fun and loving couples like Jen and Mitch on their unique days.
Getting Ready
The girls began their day at Hairitage Salon for hair and makeup. They then went to the Comfort Inn in Edinboro, PA to finish getting dressed and take photos of the process.
The lads started getting ready at Jen and Mitch’s house. They rented a house on Edinboro Lake where they finished getting ready.
The bride and groom included many family members and friends in their large bridal party. They knew that each one of their choices would be perfect to have by their sides for love and support on their most important day.
Jen had her sister, Jess, as her Matron of Honor. Her bridesmaids were Bri, Angie, Nicole, Heather, Suzanne, Erin, and her bridesman, Andrew! All of these people have been in Jen’s life for quite a few years and have impacted her to be the person she is today. They were the best support she could have asked for on her special day.
Mitch had two best men, Kyle his brother and Brett his best friend from elementary school. His groomsmen were Matt, Dave, Jordan, Billy, Aaron, and Ronald. These men have influenced major moments in Mitch’s life and he knew they were the best guys for the job.
Edinboro University Wedding
Their one of a kind Edinboro, PA wedding took place at Edinboro University. They had a great outdoor ceremony on the campus. To add an even more special touch, Mitch and Jen built and decorated the arch where they exchanged their vows.
The university boasted many great backdrops to use for their pictures. We took a lot of the bridal party photos near a huge willow tree. The graceful, draping branches added so much elegance to their photos.
The large ornamental pond on campus set a fun, affectionate scene for more photos of the bridal party. The Fighting Scot statue (affectionately known as “Angus”) was an entertaining way to end our bridal party pictures.
A Reception to Remember
This couple is so fun-loving and down to Earth. Their reception was awesome!
They brought the house down in Hollywood Hulk Hogan style! They entered the reception in WWE Championship belts and fake mustaches. The entrance set the tone for the rest of the wedding and the party began!
This was the best way to represent their playful lives together. They are always joking and being sarcastic with one another to keep things interesting! Their personalities are so infectious and their friends and family had a great time during the reception. Their lighthearted, cheerful reception is one that will never be forgotten.
I enjoy photographing a couple’s engagement and watching their love come full circle as their wedding photographer. Please contact me when you are looking for an engagement and wedding photographer who will make a difference on your special day.
