After taking Rebecca Cole and Jeffery Smith’s engagement photos this summer, we couldn’t wait until their Lawrence Park Golf Club wedding.
Jeffrey and Rebecca
Jeffery and Rebecca met in high school through a mutual friend. They were close friends by the time Jeff surprised Rebecca with a goodbye kiss after a long day spent with friends at the beach. They’ve been together ever since.
The Beachside Proposal
Rebecca and Jeffrey celebrated their 4th dating anniversary with dinner and a trip to their favorite local beach. At sunset, as the two sat on a bench overlooking the water, Jeffrey got down on one knee and asked Rebecca to marry him.
Talk about a romantic proposal!
The Ceremony at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church
The fun-loving couple tied the knot on September 14th, 2019 at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Erie, PA.
Before the ceremony, we took some first-look photos with Rebecca and her father. It was such a special moment for the two of them and I’m so glad we were able to capture it on film.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds left the church with laughter, smiles, and a really fun bubble-exit.
A Lawrence Park Golf Club Wedding Reception
The reception was held at Lawrence Park Golf Club, also in Erie. Lawrence Park Golf Club is a breathtaking venue, complete with lake views and the greenery of an 18-hole golf course.
The golf club was the perfect place for Rebecca and Jeffrey to celebrate their marriage—and the perfect place to take some fun golf-themed shots. Jeff really wanted to try out some staged, golf-themed pictures, and they turned out to be really epic.
The rest of their portraits were just as fun. We took some gorgeous sunset photos of the couple. We also took some more laid-back photos involving the bridal party. One of our favorite of this series included the best man hanging out in the background of the photo as the last single friend of their group.
Jeff and Rebecca, thank you for letting us get to know you. We enjoyed taking your engagement photos and absolutely loved photographing your wedding day. We wish you all the best in your future together.
