I had the incredible opportunity to journey to Ripley, New York, and capture Sarah and Andrew’s wedding at Quincy Cellars. It was an absolute privilege to get to meet this perfect couple and explore their gorgeous venue — just a quick jaunt from our home base in Erie, Pennsylvania. We’re so happy with how their photos turned out and are thrilled to share some of their intimate vineyard wedding with you now!
The Recipe for Love
Andrew LeCuyer was working as a cook at an Oakland restaurant when he first met his future wife, Sarah Gremba. Though they weren’t quite co-workers, Sarah worked at the adjacent restaurant. As the businesses were owned by the same person, Andrew frequently found himself running back and forth between the two locations for different necessities… trips that became even easier to justify when he spied the cute manager next door. Meanwhile, Sarah had no idea that an idle trip for supplies would bring about her first encounter with her soulmate.
Their first date was bowling, a battle that Andrew reports having won. (For legal reasons, we will not be taking a stance!) The two completely hit it off and soon were ready to move from the alley to the aisle. That’s where we came in.
The Wedding at Quincy Cellars
Quincy Cellars prides itself on top-quality wine, but that’s not all they have to offer! Located in a three-story, 130-year-old barn, you’ll also get a “taste” of rustic wood, open-air patios, and a covered deck. At just one glance at the brick, stones, and classic architecture, we had no trouble understanding why Andrew and Sarah chose this gorgeous venue for their big day. It was an absolute honor to attend and capture it.
Wine connoisseurs will likely appreciate the vineyard for its ability to produce drink-ready grapes. For us photography fans? We were ecstatic to take advantage of the natural sunlight and stunning views. If you’re dreaming of an intimate vineyard or barn wedding, Quincy may just be the perfect place to cellar-brate!
