As the great Julia Child once said, “People who love to eat are always the best people.” And when you discover the love of your life in your college cafeteria at Gannon University, you realize you have a love destined to go together like surf and turf: Will’s favorite (steak) and Lauren’s favorite (crab legs). How fitting is it that these two spent the first date of their relationship at Red Lobster on Valentine’s Day of 2016? Both nervousness and excitement to get to know each other came served alongside Cheddar Bay Biscuits (if you know, you know!).
An Engagement to Remember
This couple’s engagement commitment came within weeks of moving in with each other at their new apartment. Lauren remembers that they “woke up on a Sunday (November 22, 2020) and Will made the best breakfast! It was NFL Sunday and we spent the whole day watching football. The Steelers played that day and won; Will was in a great mood!” In a moment with a rush of emotions and excitement and perhaps spurred on by his team’s victory, Will knew it was time to pop the big question and sent Lauren on a scavenger hunt to find his shoes. Upon jumping up to search for them upstairs, Will bent down on one knee, confessed his love and desire to spend the rest of their lives together. Through tears of joy, Lauren answered with a resounding, “HELL YEAH!”
Modern Tool Square: Where Urban Living Meets Draping Vines
In downtown Erie, you will find a community of residential and commercial buildings called Modern Tool Square. We love this location for its contemporary urban feel, classic brick buildings with abundant greenery and flowers. There is an old-world charm to the creeping vines over the brick and flowerbeds, well-loved and in bloom. And while the backdrop of Modern Tool Square is stunning in and of itself, the real show stopper is the love and genuine warmth that passes easily between Will and Lauren. Each smile meant for each other, each touch given with ease and trust, and each glance spoke volumes of the care they felt for each other. Nothing tops off an engagement session quite like epic sunset photos at Presque Isle State Park on Lake Erie. With the Presque Isle only about 10 minutes away from Modern Tool Square, this is a favorite spot of ours!
You Want to Hire Us? Hell Yeah!!
Consider us your own personal NFL cheerleader on Football Sunday but without the high kicks and choreographed dance routine! We start the 1st half with your engagement photos but go all out for a touchdown together on your wedding and reception photos. And maybe even a field goal later in the game to capture your future family images. We’d be happy to preserve the best moments in your life. You bring the love and smiles, and we’ll bring our artful eyes and creative thinking. If we sound like a winning play together, give us a call.
