How Did You First Meet?
How did you meet your sweetheart? Do you remember the location? Some of our duos meet through family or mutual friends. And many of our couples meet during their academic journey in school. Such is the case with Alexa and Ryan, whose love story began at the Edinboro University’s library, where they both attended. These college sweethearts hit the ground running. As Alexa recalls, “I felt like I’d never been able to talk to someone so easily, and I realized then how much I already liked him. From the very beginning, I knew that this was different, but in the very best way.”
Given the history with their school and the bonds formed while they attended, it made sense that Ryan would propose in front of the Edinboro clock tower while walking their pup. The surprise engagement party Ryan organized after the proposal was made even sweeter with all their family and friends there to celebrate!
Alexa and Ryan’s Outdoor Fall Wedding at Madeline’s
When your dreams after marriage are acres of land, you look for a venue that can offer you what you dream of. Finding a venue that helps you feel comfortable and confident on your wedding day allows you to feel at ease and relaxed on one of the grandest days of your life. A thought to ponder: What are your dreams for after marriage? Where do you see yourself? These questions can help provide a mirror for the type of venue you may most appreciate.
Ryan and Alexa chose to have their wedding at Madeline’s in Cranesville, outside of Erie, PA. In a fitted embroidered, open-backed gown, Alexa and Ryan in a suit, tie, and vest dazzled against the rustic greenery that is Madeline’s. If you’re looking for lush and mature greenery in your photos, we give Madeline’s two thumbs up. Imagine saying your “I Do’s” under their wooden arch, ponds setting the backdrop for a romantic, tree-lined vow commitment.
The party moved inside Madeline’s dining room and bar, where this fun couple danced the night away, surrounded by family and friends. We’re thrilled to have celebrated their special day, and captured moments they will remember for the rest of their lives.
The Matt Mead Experience
We believe that two are better than one. We believe that life should be enjoyed and celebrated amongst family and friends. And that the best evenings end with a good glass of wine or two fingers of whiskey. We believe in love and helping preserve it. We believe in celebrating commitments and vows. Ultimately, we believe that the best photos happen organically and that you should feel your best when in front of the camera. Do you see what we see? Let us know. We’re here to help.
